The videos in Read My Lips demonstrate the mouth movements necessary to make letter sounds. Students are introduced to sound-symbol correlation with a series of videos and photos showing the production of each phoneme.

IPA for SLPs

Learn the IPA symbols used in English.

There are 43 English speech sounds that are used in Learning Fundamentals apps. This is a great way for students to learn the different spellings that make up English sounds. It can also be used to learn the International Phonetic Alphabet and become adept at recognizing the symbols.

We took many more pictures than we could use on the apps and CDs and thought that SLPs, Special Education Professionals, and others could use them to start their own conversations with their clients. The pictures are organized into groups and have some text telling you what the main idea of the picture is.
